MI Convert is a simple to use metric imperial conversion program, which consists of seven conversion and calculation windows for Distance and Length, Square measurement, Weight, Capacity, Temperature, Velocity and Circumference, offering hundreds more conversion and calculation possibilities over the popular, less featured Macintosh Light freeware version. Although MI Convert is a simple to use program, version 2.6.2 has now the added option of "Help text" to help computer newcomers around the various conversion windows, this option can be turned off from the preferences window. Now a version of MI Convert for OSX, this version can also be used on a Mac running OS 8.5 or above with the Carbon Lib extension installed, Although OSX is still in Beta you can try out this Carbon version of MI Convert on a Mac running OSX. There are two sets of read me files with this version, a set that are Classic Mac compatible to read on a Mac OS other than OSX and a set compatible for reading on Mac OSX. MI Convert can be registered while running OSX from within MI Convert linking through to our Kagi web page,"Register" the separate e-mail, fax registration program that is supplied with MI Convert is only Classic compatible, although this does not present any problems, it is recommended to register from our Kagi web site if using on OSX. MI Convert 2.7_PPC (Image) Use this version if you have a Power Macintosh running an operating system from OS 7.6.1 up to any version of OS9 ( this version of MI Convert is not OSX compatible ) MI Convert 2.7_68K (Image) Use this version if you have a Power Macintosh with a 68000 processor ( Early mac before Power Mac ) running an operating system from OS 7.6.1 up to any version of OS9 ( this version of MI Convert is not OSX compatible ) MI Convert 1.6 (MICInstall.exe) This is the windows version of MI Convert, this version will run on Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and XP and is supplied with it's own installer. MI Convert is the only metric Imperial conversion software program that gives written imperial text conversions and calculations, with distance, length and circumference measurement conversions and calculations down to 1/16 of an inch and weight calculations and conversions down to 1 dram. Written text conversions are in both Macintosh and Windows versions of this program. This program is distributed enabled with a 30 day full tryout period, without reminder windows, when this 30 day tryout period has passed the program will run as a limited version disabling written text and restricting the number of numerals allowed in the various input fields until registered, after registering, obtaining a serial number and entering the serial the program will run fully enabled.
